If you’re a teen in Jackson, Mississippi, there is a new health center that offers services just for you. The Midtown Teen Wellness Center is located in the UNACARE Health Center at 258 E. Fortification Street in Jackson. Whether you need a routine physical or sexual health testing, the Midtown Teen Wellness Clinic will have you covered.
Do I need an appointment?
While appointments are preferred, walk-ins are welcome. You can call 601-815-8230 to make an appointment.
When is it open?
The Midtown Teen Wellness Center is open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
What services does the clinic provide?
Services include sexual health, physicals, sport physicals, immunizations, and health prevention and promotion education.
How do I pay?
All insurances are accepted. No teen will be turned away if he or she can’t pay.
Does my parent or guardian have to know?
Reproductive and sexual health services (birth control, STD testing, etc.) are kept private between you and your provider.

MTWC is an expansion of the UNACARE Health Center, managed by the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) School of Nursing, and dedicated to teen health issues. UNACARE providers are certified nurse practitioners who collaborate with physicians in Family Medicine and OB-GYN at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
