You begin by choosing to be happy every day. What are your interests? If you enjoy reading, find a book club or library where you might meet interesting people. Dancing, take a lesson or join a community group. Are you involved with a church group? If not, is that something that would be of interest? Many churches sponsor singles groups that provide opportunities to meet others. Look for friends, both male and female, that share your interests and create a supportive network. Once you have healed, then you can begin to open your heart to a new relationship. Heartbreak is not easy but you can learn from this experience and hopefully, grow stronger. As you undertake this jouney, don’t underestimate the power of sharing your feelings with someone you trust. Be strong!
