Can I get an STI from just kissing?

Pucker up! Herpes is the only STI that can be passed through kissing. This usually happens with someone has a sore on their mouth and then kisses someone else. It can also happen when the virus is more active in a person’s body (on certain days throughout the year), or when they have no symptoms at all. Hope this helps!
