Yeast infections are extremely uncomfortable with patient’s complaining of severe itching, burning and skin irritation. This is easily treated with an over the counter medication, such as Monistat. You still need to get checked out to be certain that it is a yeast infection because there are other infections that can cause the similar symptoms.
